i think healing is the most difficult because you really are the one dealing with the consequences of when everything else goes wrong. you also have to keep yourself alive, keep the tank alive, handle mechanics and do damage yourself. there is the RNG factor of when and where damage occurs, who is targeted and then how that player responds to it. Healers: the difficulty of this job comes not so much from the content, but from the fact that you are always in reactive mode. the difficulty is trying to line up all your damage abilities to when they will produce the greatest effect. the tank is the most responsible for the group as a whole.ĭPS: you really have three things to do in this order: handle mechanics, attend to CC/interrupts, do as much damage as you can, avoid/mitigate damage. you have to know routes, trash and boss abilities, your comp’s strengths and weaknesses, set the pacing, protect the healer, pay attention to how the group is functioning, all while handling communications on strats and marking on the fly.
